The Story

24K: The Summer Saga, began as a simple car conversation. After visiting their favorite vacation spot, Lake George, NY, Andrew and Ashley Valitutto were on the car ride home when Andrew mentioned he’d love to do a trip up there with his guy friends. “What a great idea for a TV Show”, he thought. Once he revealed the idea to Ashley, the brain-storming process started, and writing began weeks later.  Andrew would use the vacation spot they loved so much as the basis for the fictional town of Lake Wildwood.

The story and its characters were inspired by childhood friends whom Andrew grew up with in the Wildwood development of Wappingers Falls, NY – giving away to the name Lake Wildwood. Written to the first chapter in a series, 24K: The Summer Saga, is a comedy driven by young adult subject matter.  It has described as “American Pie” mixed with “Entourage” and added in some twists and drama.

The Authors

Andrew and Ashley currently reside in Poughkeepsie, NY, doing the whole adult life thing while raising two awesome kids. They met together in a screenwriting class while attending community college. Now, they bring together their first collaborative work. Andrew developed the storyline and characters, as Ashley made sure he didn’t screw up the dialogue and continuity too much.
